2. Safety Information
- Use only new 4 AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Ensure the correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Keep physical keys in a safe, accessible location outside the locked area for emergency access.
- Regularly clean the fingerprint sensor and keypad to ensure optimal performance.
- The USB-C port is for emergency power supply only, not for charging batteries.

5. Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully to install your smart door lock. For visual guidance, refer to the provided images and videos.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks (Door Compatibility)
Ensure your door meets the following requirements:
- Door Thickness: 1⅜" - 1¾" (35mm - 45mm)
- Backset Distance: Adjustable between 2⅜" - 2¾" (60mm - 70mm)

5.2 Latch Installation
- Hold the latch in front of the door hole with the latch face flush against the door edge.
- Adjust the backset of the latch if needed (60mm or 70mm). Ensure the square hole of the latch remains vertical.
- Secure the latch with screws.
5.3 Handle Assembly and Installation
- Open the battery cover on the rear handle assembly.
- Insert 4 new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Connect the door lock circuit board port (wire from front handle) to the battery compartment.
- Align the square tube of the front handle with the latch holes and insert it through the door.
- Attach the rear handle assembly, ensuring the wires are not pinched.
- Tighten the screws to secure both handle assemblies to the door.

6. Setup Instructions
6.1 App Download and Pairing
- Scan the QR code in the manual or search for "Tuya Smart" in your smartphone's app store to download the application.
- Register or log in to your Tuya Smart account.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- On the lock, long press the small hole on the rear handle with a screwdriver for 9 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- In the Tuya Smart app, tap "Add Device" and select the door lock. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

6.2 Adding Fingerprints
- In the Tuya Smart app, navigate to "Member Management" and select the user for whom you want to add a fingerprint.
- Tap "Add Fingerprint" and follow the voice prompts from the lock.
- Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor, rotating it to capture different angles (at least 5 times) for improved recognition.
- Once successfully added, name the fingerprint in the app.
6.3 Setting Passcodes
- In the Tuya Smart app, navigate to "Temporary Code" or "Member Management" to set up passcodes.
- Choose from:
- Custom Codes: 6-9 digit permanent codes.
- Timed Codes: Valid only during specified dates and times.
- One-time Codes: Work only once.
- Dynamic Code: Multiple uses within a 5-minute window.
- Enter the desired passcode on the lock's keypad when prompted by the app.

7. Operating the Lock
Your IRONZON Smart Fingerprint Door Lock offers several convenient ways to unlock.
7.1 Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the sensor. The lock will unlock within 1 second if recognized.
- Passcode Unlock: Touch the keypad to activate it, then enter your registered passcode followed by '#'.
- App Unlock: Open the Tuya Smart app, select your lock, and tap the unlock icon. (Requires gateway for remote unlock, sold separately).
- Physical Key Unlock: Insert the physical key into the keyhole located on the handle and turn to unlock.

7.2 Auto-Lock Feature
The lock is equipped with an auto-lock feature that automatically secures the door after a set period. This feature can be configured via the Tuya Smart app.
7.3 Emergency Power Supply
In case of battery depletion, you can temporarily power the lock using a USB-C cable connected to an external power bank. The USB-C port is located at the bottom of the front handle.

8.1 Battery Replacement
When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible warning. Replace all 4 AAA alkaline batteries promptly to avoid being locked out. Ensure correct polarity.
