Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors. This heater is intended for indoor use only.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- This heater includes a tip-over protection feature that automatically shuts off the unit if it is accidentally tipped over.
- The heater is equipped with overheat protection, which will shut off the unit if it reaches an unsafe temperature.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or if the product needs to be returned.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from any walls, furniture, or other objects. Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
- Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched off before plugging it into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips with this heater.

Operating Instructions
The tectake 1500W Portable Outdoor Heater features two control knobs on the top panel:
- Power/Mode Knob (Left):
- O: Off
- Fan Only: Activates the fan without heat.
- I (750W): Low Heat Setting (750 Watts).
- II (1500W): High Heat Setting (1500 Watts).
- Thermostat Knob (Right):
- Adjusts the desired room temperature. Turn clockwise for higher temperature, counter-clockwise for lower. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
How to Use:
- Plug the heater into a suitable grounded outlet.
- Turn the Power/Mode Knob to your desired setting (Fan Only, I, or II).
- Adjust the Thermostat Knob to your preferred temperature. The heater will begin to operate.
- To turn off the heater, turn the Power/Mode Knob to the "O" (Off) position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

Maintenance

- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not immerse the heater in water.
- Dust Removal: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
