- Mount Your Smartphone: Securely attach your iOS or Android smartphone to the top clamp of the XbotGo Chameleon. Ensure the phone's camera lens is aligned with the device's tracking sensor for optimal performance.
- Download the XbotGo App: Search for "XbotGo" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install the application on your smartphone.
- Pair the Device: Open the XbotGo app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your smartphone with the XbotGo Chameleon via Bluetooth. You can also pair the remote control if included.
- Position the Camera: Place the XbotGo Chameleon on a stable surface or a compatible tripod. For best tracking results, position it behind the baseline of the court/field, approximately 3 meters (10 feet) from the centerline, at a height of 1.5-2 meters (5-6 feet).

- Select Recording Mode: In the XbotGo app, choose the sport you wish to record (e.g., Soccer, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Handball, Tennis, Pickleball, Lacrosse). Some modes may be in beta.
- Activate Tracking: The camera's AI will automatically track the players or the action based on the selected sport. For 'FollowMe' mode, you can select a specific player to track, even by jersey number.
- Start/Stop Recording: Initiate or stop recording directly from the XbotGo app or using the remote control/Apple Watch.
- Live Streaming: Utilize the app's live streaming feature to broadcast your game to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, or any RTMP-compatible service.
- Gesture Control: For 'FollowMe' mode, you can use hand gestures to lock or unlock the target for tracking. Raise your right hand to lock, and repeat to unlock.
- AI Highlights & ScoreSync: The app automatically generates highlights and offers real-time scoreboards with ScoreSync for enhanced game analysis and sharing.
