Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for travel, camping, driving, hiking, fishing, picnics, or use in an RV. Featuring a 15-bar pressure pump and dual hot/cold extraction modes, the H4A delivers a rich and aromatic coffee experience. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Always ensure the machine is placed on a stable, flat surface during operation.
  • Do not immerse the main body of the machine in water or other liquids.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Hot water and steam can cause burns.
  • Use only the provided power adapters (AC/DC, cigarette adapter, USB cable) for charging and operation. Ensure the voltage matches the machine's requirements.
  • Do not operate the machine if it is damaged or malfunctioning. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Exercise caution when handling hot components and liquids.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, it is recommended to clean the machine:

  1. Disassemble the coffee machine components (cup, adapters).
  2. Wash all detachable parts with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Wipe the main body of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
  4. Run a cycle with clean water only (without coffee) to flush the internal system. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' for how to run a cycle.

4.2 Charging the Machine

The HiBREW H4A can be powered by various sources:

  • AC/DC Adapter: For home or office use.
  • Cigarette Adapter (12V): For car use. This adapter supports heating water.
  • USB Cable: For power banks or other USB power sources. Note that the USB cable does not support heating water; it only powers the pump for cold extraction.

Ensure the machine is adequately charged or connected to a power source before use.

5. Operating Instructions

The HiBREW H4A offers three coffee preparation methods: Nes* OriginalLine capsules, DG* capsules, and ground coffee. It also supports both hot and cold extraction.

5.1 General Steps for Coffee Preparation

  1. Prepare Coffee: Choose your desired coffee type and prepare it using the corresponding adapter.
  2. Add Water: Unscrew the top cap and fill the water tank with the desired amount of water (max 60ml). For hot coffee, use cold water and the machine will heat it. For cold coffee, use cold water.
  3. Assemble: Screw the coffee adapter (with coffee) into the bottom of the machine, then screw the top cap back on.
  4. Select Mode & Brew: Press the power button to select the desired mode (hot or cold) and start brewing. The machine will automatically stop when the brewing cycle is complete.

5.2 Specific Instructions for Coffee Types

5.2.1 Using Nes* OriginalLine Capsules

  1. Place a Nes* OriginalLine capsule into the Nes adapter.
  2. Screw the capsule adapter into the bottom of the machine.
  3. Unscrew the top cap and add cold/hot water to the tank.
  4. Screw the top cap back on.
  5. Select the hot/cold mode to start brewing with one button.

5.2.2 Using DG* Capsules

  1. Place a DG* capsule into the DG adapter.
  2. Screw the capsule adapter into the bottom of the machine.
  3. Unscrew the top cap and add cold/hot water to the tank.
  4. Screw the top cap back on.
  5. Select the hot/cold mode to start brewing with one button.

5.2.3 Using Ground Coffee

  1. Fill the Stainless Steel Coffee Powder Adapter with finely ground coffee (recommended for espresso). Do not overfill or tamp too hard.
  2. Screw the coffee powder adapter into the bottom of the machine.
  3. Unscrew the top cap and add cold/hot water to the tank.
  4. Screw the top cap back on.
  5. Select the hot/cold mode to start brewing with one button.

Note: The USB cable only supports cold extraction. For hot extraction, use the AC/DC adapter or the car cigarette adapter.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Machine

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your coffee machine:

  1. Automatic Cleaning: After each use, or periodically, add clean water to the tank and run the machine once without any coffee capsules or ground coffee. This flushes the internal system.
  2. Adapter Cleaning: The capsule adapters and coffee powder adapter can be easily disassembled. Rinse them thoroughly under running water.
  3. Cup Cleaning: Wash the BPA-free coffee cup with warm, soapy water and rinse.
  4. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the machine.

7. Troubleshooting
