Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your water fountain:

1. Charge the Pump Unit: Before first use, fully charge the pump unit using the provided Type-C cable. The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge can last up to 70 days depending on usage mode.

   

2. Rinse Components: Wash the stainless steel tank, drinking tray, and filter tray with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
3. Prepare the Filter: Rinse the new filter under running water for a few minutes to remove any loose carbon particles.
4. Assemble the Filter System: Place the rinsed filter into the filter tray.
5. Fill the Tank: Fill the stainless steel tank with fresh water up to the "MAX" line indicated on the water level window.
6. Place Pump Unit: Insert the charged pump unit into its designated slot on the filter tray, ensuring it is securely seated.
7. Place Drinking Tray: Position the stainless steel drinking tray over the filter tray and pump unit.

Your fountain is now ready for operation.

Operating Instructions

The Gimars water fountain offers three operating modes:

1. Switching Modes: Tap the "SET" button on top of the pump unit to cycle through the modes. An indicator light will confirm the selected mode.

   

2. Sensor Mode: Water flows when a pet approaches within the detection range (approximately 120 degrees). This conserves battery life and encourages pets to drink fresh water.
3. Timing Mode: Water flows for a short period every 20 minutes, providing regular hydration without constant motion detection.
4. Normal Mode (Continuous Flow): Water flows continuously. This mode requires the fountain to be plugged in via the Type-C cable for uninterrupted power.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your pet's water fountain.

1. Daily Water Refill: Check the water level daily and refill as needed. Ensure the water level is above the "MIN" mark.
2. Weekly Cleaning:
   • Unplug the pump unit and remove it from the fountain.
   • Disassemble the fountain components (drinking tray, filter tray, stainless steel tank).
   • Wash all stainless steel parts with mild soap and water. The stainless steel tank and drinking tray are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
   • Clean the pump unit with the provided brush, ensuring no debris is blocking the water inlet or outlet. Do not immerse the pump unit in water.
