4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your gem faceting machine for operation.

4.1. Install the Manipulator

1. Insert the nut into the track on the machine base.
2. Secure the manipulator base onto the machine using the nut and screw.
3. Install the height adjuster onto the manipulator base.
4. Install the U-bracket onto the height adjuster.

5.2. Adjusting the Protractor
