5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging of the Power Bank

Before first use, fully charge your Ambrane Aerosync Snap power bank. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the Type-C port on the power bank and the other end to a compatible USB wall adapter (20W PD charger recommended for fastest charging). The LED indicators will illuminate to show the charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours with a 20W PD charger.

5.2 Understanding LED Indicators

The LED lights on the power bank indicate the remaining battery level:

• 4 LEDs: 75-100% charged
• 3 LEDs: 50-75% charged
• 2 LEDs: 25-50% charged
• 1 LED: 0-25% charged (recharge soon)

5.3 Attaching the Magnetic Ring (for non-MagSafe Android devices)

If your Android device is Qi-compatible but not MagSafe-compatible, you can use the included magnetic ring for a secure magnetic attachment. Clean the back of your phone or phone case thoroughly. Peel off the adhesive backing from the magnetic ring and carefully center it on the back of your device, ensuring it does not obstruct the camera or other essential features. Press firmly for a few seconds to secure it.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Charging Devices Wirelessly

The Aerosync Snap supports both MagSafe and Qi wireless charging.

• For MagSafe Compatible Devices (iPhone 12 & above): Simply align and attach the power bank to the back of your iPhone. The magnets will snap it into place, and charging will begin automatically.
• For Qi-Enabled Devices (Android phones, AirPods 2/3/Pro, iPhone 8 & above): Place your Qi-enabled device on the wireless charging pad of the power bank. Ensure the device is centered for optimal charging. If using the magnetic ring, align the power bank with the ring for a secure connection.

6.2 Charging Devices via Wired Connection

The power bank features a USB-A port and a Type-C port for wired charging.

• Connect your device's charging cable to either the USB-A (22.5W max) or Type-C (22W max) output port on the power bank.
• Connect the other end of the cable to your device. Charging will commence automatically.

6.3 Simultaneous Charging (Pass-Through)

The power bank supports pass-through charging, allowing you to charge both the power bank and your device simultaneously. Connect the power bank to a wall adapter, and then connect your device to the power bank (either wirelessly or via cable). The power bank will prioritize charging your device first, then recharge itself.

7. Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the power bank. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the power bank in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, charge it to about 50% every three months to preserve battery health.
• Battery Care: To maximize battery lifespan, avoid fully discharging the power bank regularly. Recharge it when the battery level is low.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Power Bank Not Charging

• Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the power bank and the wall adapter.
• Try a different USB-C cable and/or wall adapter.
• Verify the wall adapter is functioning correctly and provides sufficient power (20W PD recommended).

8.2 Device Not Charging from Power Bank

• Wired Charging: Check if the cable is properly connected to both the power bank and your device. Try a different cable. Ensure the power bank has sufficient charge.
• Wireless Charging: Ensure your device is Qi-compatible and correctly aligned on the charging pad. Remove any thick cases or metal objects that might interfere with wireless charging. Check if the power bank has sufficient charge.
• Restart your device and try again.

8.3 Slow Charging

• For Power Bank: Use a 20W Power Delivery (PD) compatible wall adapter for optimal charging speed.
• For Devices: Ensure your device supports fast charging protocols (PD 3.0, QC 3.0, VOOC, PPS) and that you are using a compatible cable. Wireless charging is inherently slower than wired charging.

8.4 Power Bank or Device Overheating

• It is normal for the power bank and device to become slightly warm during charging.
• If excessive heat is detected, disconnect the power bank and device immediately.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation and no obstructions around the power bank or device.
• Avoid charging in direct sunlight or hot environments.
