4. Product Overview
The Onforu Solar Light features an integrated design with a solar panel, three adjustable LED light heads, and a motion sensor.
- Solar Panel: Converts sunlight into electrical energy to charge the internal battery.
- LED Light Heads: Three adjustable heads providing 4500LM brightness and 270° illumination.
- Motion Sensor: Detects movement within a 180° angle and up to 40ft distance.
- ON/OFF Button: Located on the back of the unit for initial power activation.

5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Initial Charge: Before installation, ensure the light is turned ON via the button on the back and expose the solar panel to direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours to allow for initial battery charging.
- Select Location: Choose an outdoor location where the solar panel can receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. The recommended installation height is 8.2-9.8 feet for optimal motion detection and light coverage.
- Mounting the Bracket:
- Position the mounting bracket on the desired surface (wall, fence, pole).
- Mark the drill points through the holes on the bracket.
- Drill holes at the marked positions. Insert the wall plugs if installing on masonry or concrete.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the surface using the provided screws.
- Attach the Light: Slide the solar light unit onto the secured mounting bracket until it clicks into place.
- Adjust Light Heads and Solar Panel: Adjust the angle of the three light heads to cover the desired area. Ensure the solar panel is angled to receive optimal sunlight.

6. Operating Instructions
The Onforu Solar Light offers three distinct lighting modes, controllable via the included remote.
6.1 Remote Control Functions
- ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
- MODE1 (PIR): Motion Sensor Mode. Light turns on at 100% brightness when motion is detected and turns off 20 seconds after motion ceases.
- MODE2 (PIR+DIM): Dim Light Sensor Mode. Light stays on at 3% brightness at night. When motion is detected, it brightens to 100% for 20 seconds, then returns to 3% brightness.
- MODE3 (D2D): Always On Mode. Light turns on automatically at 10% brightness at night and stays on until dawn.
- DIM (+/-): Adjusts brightness levels (30%, 60%, 100%) in Always On Mode (MODE3).

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures efficient charging.
- Battery: The integrated Lithium Ion battery is designed for long-term use. If replacement is ever needed, consult a qualified technician.
- Environmental Conditions: While IP65 waterproof, extreme weather conditions (e.g., severe storms, prolonged heavy snow) may reduce performance or lifespan. Consider temporary removal or additional protection in such conditions.
9. Troubleshooting
- Light does not turn on at night:
- Ensure the ON/OFF button on the back of the unit is pressed to the "ON" position.
- Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight during the day (6-8 hours recommended). Obstructions like trees or buildings can reduce charging efficiency.
- Check if the light is installed in an area with strong ambient light (e.g., streetlights), which might prevent it from activating.
- Motion sensor is not working or is too sensitive/insensitive:
- Ensure the motion sensor is not obstructed.
- Adjust the angle of the motion sensor to optimize detection range and sensitivity.
- Confirm the light is in MODE1 or MODE2 via the remote control.
- Remote control is not working:
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light.
- Check the remote control battery (CR2025) and replace if necessary.
