5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Brandson Humidifier:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the humidifier on a firm, level, and waterproof surface, ensuring it is at least 15 cm away from walls and furniture.
- Fill Water Tank: Remove the top cover of the humidifier. Fill the 2.5-liter water tank with clean, cool tap water up to the MAX line. Do not overfill.
- Add Aroma Oil (Optional): Locate the integrated aroma oil bottle compartment on the top of the device. Press down to release and remove the small bottle. Fill it with your desired water-soluble essential oil. Reinsert the bottle and ensure it clicks into place.
- Replace Cover: Place the top cover back onto the humidifier, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Connect Power: Connect the USB-C end of the power cable to the port on the humidifier and the USB-A end to a compatible 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.
6. Operating Instructions
The humidifier features two control buttons on the top surface for mist and light functions.
6.1 Mist Control
Press the mist button (usually indicated by a mist icon) to cycle through the mist modes:
- First Press: Activates Dual Mist Mode (both outlets operate simultaneously).
- Second Press: Activates Single Mist Mode (one outlet operates).
- Third Press: Activates Alternating Mist Mode (outlets operate alternately).
- Fourth Press: Turns off the mist function.
The device features an automatic shut-off function:
- After approximately 8 hours in Dual Mist Mode.
- After approximately 16 hours in Single or Alternating Mist Mode.
- When the water tank is empty.
6.2 LED Light Control
Press the light button (usually indicated by a light bulb icon) to control the LED ambient light:
- First Press: Activates the automatic 7-color changing mode.
- Subsequent Presses: Cycles through individual fixed colors (e.g., red, green, blue, yellow, purple, cyan, white).
- Long Press: Turns off the LED light function.
6.3 Aroma Function
The aroma function operates passively through the integrated aroma oil bottle. Ensure the bottle is filled with essential oil as described in the setup section. The mist generated by the humidifier will help disperse the aroma into the air.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene.
7.1 Daily Maintenance
- Unplug the device.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wipe the water tank and mist outlets with a clean, damp cloth.
- Refill with fresh water before each use.
7.2 Weekly Cleaning
- Unplug the device and empty the water tank.
- Remove the top cover.
- Gently clean the ultrasonic atomizer with a soft brush or cotton swab to remove any mineral deposits. Do not apply excessive pressure.
- Clean the water tank thoroughly with a mild detergent and rinse well.
- Clean the aroma oil compartment and the small aroma bottle.
