Door Compatibility
These locks are suitable only for wooden doors and wooden door frames with a thickness of 35 mm to 65 mm. They are not suitable for metal doors, double doors, sliding doors, or grill gates.

3. Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and security of your Godrej Smart Lock. It is recommended to watch the official installation video and follow the steps carefully.

Installation Steps Overview:
- Handle Configuration: Adjust the door handle on both the outside and inside bodies according to your door's left-hand or right-hand setup using an Allen key.
- Making Cavities on the Door: Use the provided marker template to accurately mark points on the door. Punch the marked points and drill holes for the lock components, ensuring correct depth and diameter.
- Adding Mortise: Insert the mortise lock body into the prepared cavity on the door edge. Ensure the latch is rotated correctly based on the door's opening direction. Secure it with screws.
- Installing Outside Body: Insert the shank and split pin into the mortise. Connect the wiring and carefully align the outside body with the drilled holes, passing the wires through.
- Installing Inside Body: Connect the wiring from the outside body to the inside body. Secure the inside body to the door using anti-theft screws. Insert the AA batteries into the battery compartment.
- Installing the Striker Plate: Mark the striker plate grooves on the door frame using the lock body level. Create the necessary cavity for the striker box and install the striker box and plate, securing them with screws.
4. Setup and Programming
After installation, you need to program your lock with user credentials.
4.1 Fingerprint Registration (Catus Touch Plus Only)
- Access the programming menu (refer to the lock's on-screen prompts or voice guide).
- Select the fingerprint registration option.
- Place your finger on the sensor multiple times as instructed until registration is complete.
- Test the registered fingerprint to ensure it unlocks the door.
4.2 PIN Code Registration
- Enter the programming mode.
- Select the PIN code registration option.
- Enter your desired 4 to 9 digit PIN code, then re-enter to confirm.
- Test the new PIN code.
- For OTP generation, use the mobile application (Catus Touch Plus only).
4.3 RFID Card Registration (Catus Touch Plus Only)
- Enter the programming mode.
- Select the RFID card registration option.
- Present the RFID card to the designated sensor area on the lock.
- The lock will confirm successful registration.
- Test the registered RFID card.

- Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor.
- PIN Code: Enter your registered PIN code on the keypad, followed by the '#' key.
