4. Setup & Installation

The CLAONER Solar Lights are designed for quick and easy installation. Choose a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging.

Installation Methods:

1. Method 1: Using Screws

   Drill one hole at the desired mounting location. Insert a plastic anchor (if needed for your surface) and then secure the light with the provided screw. Ensure the solar panel faces upwards to receive maximum sunlight.

2. Method 2: Using Adhesive Tape

   For smooth, clean surfaces, you can use the provided double-sided adhesive tape. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly, peel off the protective film from the tape, and firmly press the light onto the surface. Ensure a strong bond before releasing.

Important: Before first use, allow the solar lights to charge in direct sunlight for at least 8-10 hours to ensure the battery is fully charged.

5. Operating Modes

The CLAONER Solar Lights offer three distinct working modes to suit various lighting needs. These modes can be cycled through by pressing the mode button located on the front of the light.

1. Mode 1: Normally On Mode (Constant Medium Light)

   In this mode, the light stays on at a medium brightness throughout the night. Ideal for continuous ambient lighting.
2. Mode 2: Dim Light to High Light Sensor Mode

   The light stays on at a dim brightness. When motion is detected, it automatically switches to high brightness for approximately 20 seconds. If no motion is detected for 20 seconds, it reverts to dim light.

3. Mode 3: No Light to High Light Sensor Mode

   The light remains off in darkness. When motion is detected, it illuminates at high brightness for approximately 20 seconds. If no motion is detected for 20 seconds, the light turns off completely.

6. Maintenance

• Clean the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption for efficient charging.
• Check Mounting: Periodically inspect the mounting screws or adhesive tape to ensure the light remains securely attached to its surface.
• Environmental Considerations: While the lights are IP65 waterproof and resistant to heat and frost, extreme weather conditions may temporarily affect performance. Ensure the lights are not obstructed by overgrown vegetation or debris.
• Battery Life: The rechargeable battery is designed for long-term use. If you notice a significant decrease in lighting duration over time, it may indicate the battery is reaching the end of its lifespan.
