Setup and Installation
The Reliablit electronic deadbolt and passage handle are designed for easy installation, typically requiring only a screwdriver. Ensure your door thickness is between 1-3/8 inches and 1-3/4 inches.
1. Prepare the Door
Ensure the door is properly prepped with standard bore holes for both the deadbolt and the passage handle. If replacing an existing lock, remove the old hardware.
2. Install the Deadbolt Latch
Insert the deadbolt latch into the edge bore hole of the door. Ensure the "UP" arrow on the latch is facing upwards. Secure with screws.

3. Install the Exterior Keypad Assembly
Feed the cable from the exterior keypad through the cross bore hole. Align the keypad assembly with the deadbolt latch and secure it to the door.

4. Install the Interior Unit
Connect the cable from the exterior keypad to the interior unit. Mount the interior unit onto the door, ensuring the deadbolt spindle engages correctly with the latch mechanism. Secure with mounting screws.
5. Install Batteries
Open the battery cover on the interior unit. Insert one 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover. The lock will perform a self-check.
6. Install Passage Door Handle
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for installing the passage door handle below the deadbolt. This typically involves inserting the spindle through the door and securing the interior and exterior levers.

Operating Instructions
Keyless Entry
To unlock the deadbolt using the keypad:
- Enter your programmed user code (4-8 digits).
- Press the "Lock/Unlock" button (often represented by a padlock icon).
- The deadbolt will retract, allowing the door to be opened.
One-Touch Locking
To lock the deadbolt from the outside:
- Simply press the "Lock/Unlock" button on the keypad. The deadbolt will extend.
Manual Operation
- From Outside: Use the provided key to manually lock or unlock the deadbolt.
- From Inside: Use the turn button on the interior unit to manually lock or unlock the deadbolt.
Programming User Codes

Maintenance
