4. Compatibility

5. Setup & Installation

The BAFANG Ebike Conversion Kit is designed for user-friendly installation. Comprehensive manuals and video guides are available to assist you through the process. Ensure you have all components listed in Section 2 before beginning.

Installation Steps (General Overview):

1. Prepare Your Bicycle: Ensure your bike is clean and stable. Remove the existing rear wheel.
2. Install Rear Hub Motor: Mount the new rear wheel with the integrated hub motor into the bike's rear dropout. Secure it properly.
3. Mount Controller Box: Find a suitable location on your bike frame for the controller box, typically near the battery or motor.
4. Install Display: Attach the SW2-M58 display to your handlebars.
5. Install PAS Sensor: Mount the pedal assist sensor (PAS) on the crank arm.
6. Install Throttle & Brake Levers: Attach the throttle and brake levers to the handlebars.

6. Operation

Your BAFANG Ebike Conversion Kit offers multiple riding modes for a tailored cycling experience. The SW2-M58 digital display provides real-time information and allows for easy mode selection.

Riding Modes:

• Throttle Mode: Provides power directly via the thumb throttle, allowing for propulsion without pedaling.
• Pedal Assist System (PAS) Mode: The motor provides assistance based on your pedaling effort. The SW2-M58 display offers 9 levels of PAS for versatile speed adjustments.
• Walk Assist Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike, useful when pushing the bike uphill or through crowded areas.
• Pure Cycling Mode: The motor is disengaged, and the bike operates as a traditional bicycle.

SW2-M58 Display Functions:

The 3.8" LCD screen provides essential information and control:

• Battery level indicator

To power on/off the system, refer to the display's specific instructions. The display may require a password (default: 1919) for access to certain settings.

7. Maintenance
