4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The alarm clock requires 3 AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the alarm clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Power Connection

For continuous power, connect the alarm clock using the provided USB cable:

  1. Insert the small end of the USB cable into the DC 5V input port on the alarm clock.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Controls

The alarm clock features large, intuitive buttons for easy control. Refer to the labels on the clock for specific functions such as MODE, ALARM, UP, DOWN, and SNOOZE/LIGHT.

5.2. Setting Time and Date

  1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the time display flashes.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press MODE again to move to minutes, then adjust with UP and DOWN.
  4. Continue pressing MODE to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with UP and DOWN.
  5. Press MODE one last time to confirm and exit time/date setting mode.

5.3. Setting Alarm

  1. Press the ALARM button once to display the current alarm time.
  2. Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm time flashes.
  3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
  4. Press ALARM again to move to minutes, then adjust with UP and DOWN.
  5. Press ALARM one last time to confirm.
  6. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM button briefly until the alarm icon appears/disappears on the display.

5.4. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 10 minutes and then sound again. This can be repeated multiple times.

5.5. Projection Function

The clock can project the time onto a wall or ceiling. The projection angle is adjustable.

  1. To activate the projection, ensure the clock is powered on.
  2. The projection lens is located on the top of the clock. Adjust the angle of the lens to direct the time display to your desired surface.
  3. The projected time will appear in red for clear visibility.

5.6. Temperature Display

The clock displays indoor temperature. To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit:

  • Press the DOWN button briefly to toggle between °C and °F.

5.7. Voice Reporting

The clock can report the current time verbally.

  • Press the dedicated VOICE button (if available, or a combination as per specific model) to hear the time announced.
  • The clock supports 24-hour voice reporting and 15-hour intelligent reporting.

5.8. Music Alarm Options

The alarm clock offers 5 different music options for your alarm sound.

  • While in alarm setting mode (Section 5.3), after setting the alarm time, you may be able to press ALARM again to cycle through the music options.
  • Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select your preferred melody.
  • The volume of the alarm is adjustable. Refer to the clock's physical buttons for volume control (often combined with UP/DOWN buttons in normal mode).

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Exposure: Keep the clock away from water and high humidity. It is not waterproof.
