4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your KVM switch:
- Connect Monitors: Connect your two monitors to the KVM switch's "HD OUT A" and "HD OUT B" ports using the provided HDMI 2.0 cables.
- Connect Computers (Video): For each computer (PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4), connect its primary HDMI output to the corresponding "HD IN A" port on the KVM switch. Connect its secondary HDMI output to the corresponding "HD IN B" port.
- Connect Computers (USB): For each computer, connect one end of a USB-A to USB-A 3.0 cable to the KVM switch's corresponding "USB" input port (e.g., PC1 USB to PC1 IN USB) and the other end to a USB port on your computer. This connection is essential for both USB peripheral sharing and monitor detection.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your USB keyboard, mouse, and any other USB 3.0 peripherals (e.g., printer, USB drive) to the three USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the KVM switch.
- Power Connection: Connect the USB-A to USB-C power cable to the KVM switch's "5V IN" port and to a 5V power adapter (not included) or a USB port on one of your computers.
- Power On: Ensure all connections are secure, then power on the KVM switch and all connected computers and monitors.
Important Notes:
- For optimal performance and to achieve 4K@60Hz resolution, ensure that all input devices (computers), HDMI cables, and output devices (monitors) support 4K@60Hz.
- All cables must be connected correctly for the KVM switch to function as intended.
- If your computer lacks dual HDMI ports, refer to the compatibility chart below for alternative connection methods using DP or USB-C ports with appropriate adapters.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your KVM switch, please observe the following maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Environment: Keep the KVM switch in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures (above 70°C), and excessive humidity.
- Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the KVM switch, as this will void the warranty.
- Power: Always use the provided power cable or a compatible 5V power source.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KVM switch, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Display or Incorrect Resolution:
- Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected between the computers, KVM switch, and monitors.
- Verify that both your input devices (computers) and output devices (monitors) support the desired resolution (e.g., 4K@60Hz).
- Confirm that the USB input port from the computer is connected to the KVM switch, as this is crucial for monitor detection and proper functionality.
- Try restarting the KVM switch and the connected computers.
- USB Devices (Keyboard/Mouse) Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB-A to USB-A 3.0 cables are firmly connected from each computer to the KVM switch.
- Check that your keyboard and mouse are connected to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
- Some specific mouse functions (e.g., scroll wheel) may occasionally require the mouse to be briefly disconnected and reconnected, or powered off/on, after switching between computers.
- If using a wireless keyboard/mouse, ensure the receiver is connected to one of the USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
- No Power to KVM Switch:
- Verify that the USB-C power cable is securely connected to the KVM switch and a functional 5V power source.
- Ensure the power source is providing adequate power.
- Audio Issues:
- This KVM switch transmits audio through the HDMI connection. Ensure your monitors or connected audio devices are properly configured for HDMI audio output.
