5. Installation Guide
The Amico ultra-thin recessed lighting is designed for easy installation in both retrofit and new construction. No can housing is needed, requiring only 2 inches of ceiling space. Always ensure power is disconnected before starting installation.
5.1 Pre-Installation Steps
- Turn off Power: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Determine Location: Choose the desired location for your recessed light.
- Cut Hole: Use the provided 1:1 hole template to mark and cut a hole in the ceiling. The advised hole cutout size is 6.25 inches.
- Select Color Temperature (CCT): Before connecting the light, open the junction box and locate the CCT selection switch. Slide the switch to your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K). This setting cannot be changed once the light is installed without removing it.

5.2 Wiring and Mounting
- Connect Wiring: Open the plastic junction box. Remove the appropriate knockout(s) and connect the electrical wires (live, neutral, ground) from your ceiling to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using the provided wire nuts. Secure the connections.
- Connect Fixture to Junction Box: Connect the cable from the LED light panel to the cable extending from the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
- Place Junction Box: Carefully push the wired junction box through the cutout hole into the ceiling cavity.
- Mount Light: Push the spring clips on the sides of the light fixture upward. Insert the light fixture into the ceiling hole. The spring clips will automatically secure the fixture against the ceiling.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Color Temperature Selection
The Amico recessed light offers 5 selectable color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K). The desired CCT must be selected using the switch located on the side of the junction box before installation. Once installed, the CCT setting is fixed until the fixture is removed.

6.2 Dimming Functionality
