2. Safety Guidelines

Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to local laws and regulations regarding electric scooter usage. Wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear. Avoid riding in heavy traffic, on slippery surfaces, or in adverse weather conditions. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 220 lbs.

3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Assembly

The scooter comes largely pre-assembled. You will primarily need to attach the handlebar to the main stem and secure it. Tools for assembly are included in the package.

• Carefully remove the scooter and all accessories from the packaging.
• Lift the handlebar stem to an upright position until it clicks into place.
• Connect the main cable from the handlebar to the stem. Ensure the connection is secure and aligned to avoid bending pins.
• Secure the handlebar to the stem using the provided screws and T-shaped Allen keys.

3.2 Initial Charging

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. A full charge takes approximately 5.5 hours.

• Locate the charging port on the side of the scooter.
• Connect the power charger to the scooter and then to a power outlet.
• The charger's indicator light will be red during charging and turn green when fully charged.

3.3 App Connection

Enhance your riding experience by connecting your scooter to the LEQISMART app. The app allows you to monitor battery life, mileage, control speed modes, and access additional features.

• Scan the QR code in the included manual or search for "LEQISMART" in your device's app store.
• Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
• Open the LEQISMART app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your scooter.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Display

To power on the scooter, press the power button on the handlebar display. The display will show current speed, battery level, and selected speed mode (Low, Medium, High).

4.2 Riding the Scooter

To start riding, place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot. Once you gain a little momentum, press the accelerator on the right handlebar. The scooter will not accelerate from a standstill for safety reasons.

• Speed Modes: Toggle between Low, Medium, and High speed modes using the button on the display. The maximum speed is 15.5 MPH.
• Braking: The scooter features dual brakes for effective stopping. Use the hand brake on the left handlebar for primary braking. There is also a rear fender brake for additional stopping power.
• Headlight & Taillight: The scooter has an auto-on headlight that activates in low light conditions. The taillight functions as a brake light, and side signal lights flash automatically when turning.

4.3 Folding and Portability

• To fold, locate the folding mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem.
• Engage the release lever and fold the stem downwards until it locks into place with the rear fender.

5.1 Battery Care

• Charge the battery fully before first use.
• Avoid completely draining the battery. Recharge regularly, even if not in frequent use.

• The battery is IPX5 waterproof, but avoid submerging the scooter in water.
