This device connects wirelessly to your iPhone or iPad, allowing you to track items such as keys, wallets, backpacks, and luggage. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Smart Tag to ensure optimal performance.

Setup Guide
1. Battery Activation/Installation
The Reyke Smart Tag comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. If the device does not power on, ensure the battery is correctly seated or replace it if necessary. To replace the battery:
- Gently twist the back cover of the Smart Tag counter-clockwise to open.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Align the back cover and twist clockwise to secure it.
2. Pairing with Apple Find My (iOS Only)
The Reyke Smart Tag is designed to work exclusively with Apple devices and the Apple Find My network. Android devices are not supported.
- Ensure your iPhone or iPad is running the latest iOS version.
- Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
- Tap the Items tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap + Add Item, then select Other Supported Item.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Reyke Smart Tag. The device will be detected automatically when nearby.
- Once connected, you can name your Smart Tag and assign an emoji to it for easy identification.

Operating Instructions
1. Locating Items with Sound (Find Nearby)
When your Reyke Smart Tag is within Bluetooth range (up to 180 feet / 55 meters), you can use the Find My app to play a sound on the tag, helping you pinpoint its exact location.
- Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
- Go to the Items tab.
- Select your Reyke Smart Tag from the list.
- Tap Play Sound. The Smart Tag will emit a loud beep (90-105dB) to guide you to its location.
- Tap Stop Sound once you have found your item.

2. Left-Behind Reminders
Receive instant notifications on your iPhone if you leave your Reyke Smart Tag behind and it goes out of Bluetooth range. This feature helps prevent you from forgetting important items.
- In the Find My app, select your Reyke Smart Tag.
- Scroll down and enable Notify When Left Behind.
- You can also set up specific locations where you don't want to be notified (e.g., your home or office) by adding them to the "Notify Me, Except At" list.

3. Lost Mode
If your Reyke Smart Tag is lost and out of your personal Bluetooth range, you can activate Lost Mode. The Apple Find My network, composed of millions of Apple devices worldwide, can help locate your item.
- In the Find My app, select your Reyke Smart Tag.
- Scroll down to Lost Mode and tap Enable.
- Follow the prompts to enter a contact phone number or email address.
- If another Apple device in the Find My network detects your lost Smart Tag, you will receive an anonymous notification with its updated location. The person who finds your item can also use their iPhone to scan the tag and see your contact information.
4. Sharing Your Smart Tag
You can share access to your Reyke Smart Tag with family and friends, allowing multiple users to track the same item. This feature requires iOS 17 or later.
- Ensure your iPhone is updated to iOS 17 or newer.
- In the Find My app, select your Reyke Smart Tag.
- Tap Share This Item.
- Follow the instructions to invite up to 5 other users to track the item.
5. IPX6 Waterproofing
The Reyke Smart Tag features an IPX6 waterproof rating, providing protection against high-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor use and protection against rain or splashes. Note: The device is not designed for submersion in water.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
The Reyke Smart Tag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts over a year with normal use. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification on your Apple device. Refer to the "Battery Activation/Installation" section under Setup for replacement instructions.
2. Cleaning
To clean your Smart Tag, wipe it gently with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or immerse the device in water.
Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to Find My app:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Apple device.
- Make sure the Smart Tag is within Bluetooth range of your Apple device.
- Check the battery level of the Smart Tag. Replace the CR2032 battery if it is low or depleted.
- Restart your Apple device and try pairing again.
- No sound when trying to locate:
- Confirm the Smart Tag is within Bluetooth range.
- Check the battery level. A low battery might affect sound output.
- Ensure the volume on your Apple device is not muted or too low.
- Location not updating or inaccurate:
- The accuracy of location tracking depends on the proximity of other Apple devices in the Find My network. In areas with fewer Apple devices, updates may be less frequent.
- Ensure your Apple device has a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data) to receive location updates.
- If the item is out of Bluetooth range, the Find My app will show its last known location until another Apple device detects it.
- Left-behind reminders not working:
- Verify that "Notify When Left Behind" is enabled for your Smart Tag in the Find My app.
- Check your iPhone's notification settings to ensure Find My notifications are allowed.
- Ensure your iPhone's location services are enabled for the Find My app.
