3. Product Overview

The SMALLRIG S60 system consists of two miniature transmitters (TX), one receiver (RX), and a portable charging case. The transmitters are designed for discreet attachment, while the receiver connects to your recording device via USB-C. The charging case provides extended battery life and convenient storage.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the charging case and both transmitters. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging case and a power source. Place the transmitters into the charging case. The indicator lights will show charging status.

4.2 Automatic Pairing

The transmitter(s) and receiver are designed to automatically pair with each other upon activation. Simply remove them from the charging case, and they will attempt to establish a connection. Ensure your recording device (Android phone, iPhone 16/15, action camera) is ready to receive audio input via its USB-C port.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Recording

Once the transmitter(s) and receiver are paired and the receiver is connected to your device, you can begin recording. The system provides clean and sharp sound output at 48 kHz / 24-bit quality.

5.2 Mute Function

To mute the microphone, double-tap the transmitter. Double-tap again to unmute. This feature allows for quick and convenient audio control during recording or live streaming.

5.3 Gain Adjustment

The receiver features a 3-level gain adjustment. Use this control to fine-tune the audio input level to suit your recording environment and desired volume. Adjusting the gain helps prevent audio clipping and ensures optimal sound quality.

6. Charging and Battery Life

The transmitter (TX) provides approximately 11 hours of battery life per charge. When combined with the charging case, the total battery life extends to nearly 44 hours, offering extended usage for long recording sessions without frequent recharging.
