Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Unpack Components
Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, flat, soft surface to prevent scratches.
Step 2: Assemble the Pole
Connect the upper pole section to the lower pole section. Ensure the connection is firm and secure. The lower pole section contains the crank mechanism for opening and closing the umbrella.

Step 3: Attach Umbrella Canopy
Carefully place the umbrella canopy onto the assembled pole. Ensure the canopy slides down completely and is properly seated. Screw the finial onto the top of the umbrella pole to secure the canopy.

Step 4: Secure the Umbrella
Insert the assembled umbrella pole into a suitable umbrella base (sold separately). Ensure the base is heavy enough to provide stability for an 8' x 8' umbrella. Tighten any securing knobs on the base to hold the pole firmly in place. The pole diameter is 1.5 inches, suitable for table holes larger than 1.5 inches.

Operation
Opening the Umbrella
Rotate the crank handle clockwise to extend the umbrella canopy. Continue cranking until the canopy is fully open and taut.
Closing the Umbrella
Rotate the crank handle counter-clockwise to retract the umbrella canopy. Ensure the canopy is fully closed and secured when not in use.
Adjusting the Tilt
This umbrella features a 30° rotation with adjustable tilt. Locate the tilt adjustment mechanism on the pole (typically a button or lever). Press the button or engage the lever and gently tilt the canopy to your desired angle. Release the button/lever to lock the tilt in place. This allows for optimal sun protection throughout the day.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Canopy: Clean the 200 GSM premium fabric canopy with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning the Frame: Wipe the champagne aluminum frame with a damp cloth. Aluminum is durable and resistant to rust and corrosion.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, especially during off-season or severe weather, close the umbrella and store it in a dry, protected area. A protective cover (sold separately) is recommended.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and moving parts to ensure they are tight and functioning correctly.

Troubleshooting
- Umbrella not opening/closing smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the canopy or crank mechanism. Ensure the pole sections are securely connected. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
- Umbrella unstable: Verify that the umbrella base is adequately weighted for the umbrella size. Ensure the pole is fully inserted and secured in the base. Do not use in high winds.
- Canopy fading: While the fabric is fade-resistant, prolonged exposure to intense sunlight can still cause some fading over time. Regular cleaning and using a protective cover when not in use can help prolong its color.
