5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The ARPHA Smart Lock is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included). A low battery alert will be issued through the app and on the lock's keypad when power is running low. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline AA batteries to ensure optimal performance and battery life (up to 180 days).
5.2 Cleaning and Care
Clean the lock's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Ensure the keypad remains free of debris for proper operation.
6. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels. Replace batteries if low. Ensure the lock is properly installed and all cables are connected.
- App connection issues: Ensure your G1 Wi-Fi Gateway is plugged in and connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network. Verify your phone's Wi-Fi or cellular data connection. Restart the app and try again.
- Passcode not working: Double-check the passcode entry. Ensure the lock is not in a temporary lockout mode due to too many incorrect attempts. Verify the passcode's validity period in the app.
- Remote control not working: Confirm the G1 Wi-Fi Gateway is online and paired with the lock. Ensure your phone has an active internet connection.
- Lock mechanism stuck: Ensure the door frame and strike plate are properly aligned. Check for any obstructions in the door jamb.
