4. Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
5. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button (center button with power symbol) to turn the device on or off.
- Upon powering on, the device will undergo a 30-second preheating process. Wait for this process to complete before beginning detection.
Gas Detection
- After preheating, position the flexible gooseneck probe near the area suspected of a gas leak.
- Move the probe slowly along pipes, connections, or appliances.
- The device will react to combustible gas leaks within 2 seconds.

Alarms and Display
When a gas leak is detected:
- The unit will emit an audible alarm.
- The LCD screen backlight will turn red.
- The screen will display the gas concentration level as Low (L), Medium (M), or High (H).

Sensitivity Adjustment
- Press the SENS-H button for high sensitivity detection (50-10000 PPM).
- Press the SENS-L button for low sensitivity detection (500-10000 PPM).
ZERO Reset Function
- In a clean air environment, press the ZERO button to reset the sensor to zero. This ensures accurate readings by calibrating the device to the ambient air.
Auto Power-Off (APO) Function
- The device has a 10-minute Auto Power-off function to conserve battery life.
- Press the APO button to cancel or activate this function.
