4. Setup

Before first use, follow these steps:

1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the air fryer.
2. Wash the crisper drawer and crisper plate thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. These parts are dishwasher safe.
3. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
4. Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of space around the back and sides for proper air circulation.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your DASH Air Fryer is straightforward with its digital touchscreen controls.

• Powering On: Plug the air fryer into a grounded electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate. Press the power icon to turn the unit on.
• Setting Temperature and Time: Use the temperature (up/down arrows) and time (up/down arrows) controls on the digital touchscreen to set your desired cooking parameters. The temperature range is 180°F to 400°F, and the timer can be set up to 60 minutes.
• Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer before adding food. Set the desired temperature and time, then press the Start/Pause button. The unit will indicate when preheating is complete.
• Using Preset Cooking Settings: The air fryer features 11 preset cooking settings for common foods such as French Fries, Bacon, Chicken, Steak, Dessert, Vegetables, Toast, Fish, Wings, Warm, and Defrost. Simply select the desired preset icon on the touchscreen for one-touch cooking.
• Shake Reminder Function: For certain foods, the air fryer will prompt you to shake the crisper drawer halfway through the cooking cycle to ensure even crisping.
• Clear View Window: Monitor your food's progress without opening the drawer, preserving heat and cooking efficiency.
• Inserting/Removing Crisper Drawer: Always use the handle to slide the crisper drawer in and out. The air fryer will automatically pause when the drawer is removed and resume when it's reinserted.

• Do Not Overfill: Avoid overcrowding the crisper drawer to allow hot air to circulate freely, ensuring even cooking and crisping.
• Shake or Toss: For foods like fries or wings, shake or toss the contents of the crisper drawer periodically during cooking. The Shake Reminder function will assist with this.
• Check Doneness: Always use a food thermometer to ensure meats and poultry reach safe internal temperatures.

2. The crisper drawer and crisper plate are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
3. Wipe the exterior of the air fryer unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
4. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the appliance.
