5. Setup

5.1 Installing the CPU

  1. Locate the LGA 1700 CPU socket on the motherboard.
  2. Open the CPU socket lever and lift the load plate.
  3. Carefully align the CPU with the socket, ensuring the triangular mark on the CPU matches the mark on the socket.
  4. Gently place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
  5. Close the load plate and secure it with the lever.

5.2 Installing DDR4 Memory

The motherboard supports up to 64GB of DDR4 memory across two slots, with speeds from 2133 MHz to 3200 MHz in dual-channel configuration.

  1. Open the clips at both ends of the DIMM slot.
  2. Align the memory module with the slot, ensuring the notch on the module matches the key in the slot.
  3. Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips snap into place.

5.3 Installing Storage Devices

The motherboard features 4 x SATA 3.0 ports and 2 x M.2 NVME Dual-Protocol slots.

5.3.1 SATA Drives

  1. Connect one end of a SATA data cable to a SATA port on the motherboard.
  2. Connect the other end of the SATA data cable to your SATA hard drive or SSD.
  3. Connect a SATA power cable from your power supply to the drive.

5.3.2 M.2 NVME Drives

  1. Locate an M.2 slot on the motherboard.
  2. Remove the M.2 standoff screw.
  3. Insert the M.2 NVME drive into the slot at a 30-degree angle.
  4. Gently push the drive down and secure it with the standoff screw.

5.4 Connecting Power

Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin ATX 12V power connector from your power supply to the corresponding ports on the motherboard.

5.5 Installing Expansion Cards

The motherboard includes 1 x PCIe x16 slot and 1 x PCIe x1 slot.

  1. Align your expansion card (e.g., graphics card) with the appropriate PCIe slot.
  2. Press down firmly until the card is seated correctly in the slot.
  3. Secure the card with a screw to the computer case.

6. Operating

6.1 First Boot and BIOS Setup

After assembling your system, connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Power on the system. During startup, press the designated key (usually DEL or F2) to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup utility. Here you can configure boot order, system time, and other advanced settings.

6.2 Operating System Installation
