5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the device.
  2. Twist or slide the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert one CR2 battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the indicators inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The device features a low-battery indicator. Replace the battery when this indicator appears to ensure accurate measurements.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press the Power/Measurement button (usually located on the top of the device).
  • The device will automatically power off after 8 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

6.2 Adjusting Focus

Rotate the eyepiece to adjust the focus until the display and target appear clear and sharp.

6.3 Measuring Distance

  1. Look through the eyepiece and aim the reticle at your desired target.
  2. Press the Power/Measurement button once to take a single measurement. The distance will be displayed in the viewfinder.
  3. For continuous scanning, press and hold the Power/Measurement button. The device will continuously measure distances as you pan across targets. Release the button to stop scanning.

6.4 Flagpole Locking with Pulse Vibration

This feature helps to accurately measure the distance to the flagstick, even with background objects.

  1. Aim the reticle at the flagstick.
  2. Press and hold the Power/Measurement button, slowly sweeping the reticle across the flagstick.
  3. Once the device locks onto the flag, it will provide a short vibration feedback and display the distance to the flag.

6.5 Slope Function (LE600AG Model)

The LE600AG model includes a slope compensation feature that provides an adjusted distance based on the elevation difference to the target.

  • To enable or disable the slope function, locate the dedicated slope switch on the side of the device.
  • Slide the switch to the desired position. When enabled, the adjusted distance will be displayed alongside the actual distance.
  • For tournament play, ensure the slope function is disabled to comply with regulations.

6.6 Unit Switching (Meters/Yards)

To switch between meters and yards, press and hold the Mode button (usually located near the Power/Measurement button) for approximately 3 seconds. The unit of measurement in the display will change.

7.1 Cleaning

  • Use the provided lens cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • For the device body, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt.

7.2 Storage

  • When not in use, store the rangefinder in its protective storage bag.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
