- Always keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- The patented Safer Plug® fire prevention technology monitors the temperature of the plug to prevent electrical fire or product damage. If the plug overheats, the heater will automatically shut off.

The Duraflame Shiplap Wall Mantel Electric Fireplace provides supplemental heating for rooms up to 1,000 square feet. It features a realistic 3D Flame® Effect with adjustable brightness and speed settings, and can be operated with or without heat. Setup and Assembly
The Duraflame Shiplap Wall Mantel Electric Fireplace requires minimal assembly. The unit typically arrives in two boxes: one containing the electric firebox insert and another with the mantel components. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the included assembly manual for proper setup.
- Carefully unpack all components and hardware. Verify that all parts are present according to the packing list.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the power button on the remote control or the control panel to turn the fireplace ON or OFF. The unit will retain the last flame and heat settings when turned back on.
Flame Effect Control
Use the flame button on the remote or control panel to cycle through 5 different brightness levels and 5 speed settings for the 3D Flame® Effect. Multiple color options are available to suit your preference.
Heat Settings and Thermostat
Adjust the desired room temperature using the digital thermostat. The heater can provide supplemental heat for rooms up to 1,000 square feet. The heat function can be operated independently of the flame effect, allowing for ambiance without heat during warmer months.
Timer Function
Activate the timer function to set an automatic shut-off for the heater. This feature allows you to set the operating duration from 30 minutes up to 9 hours.

- Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
- Ensure the air intake and exhaust vents are clear of dust and debris to maintain proper airflow.
Troubleshooting
If your electric fireplace is not operating correctly, please check the following:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120V AC outlet.
- Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- Verify that the power button on the unit or remote control is pressed.
- If the unit has shut off unexpectedly, check the Safer Plug® for signs of overheating. Allow it to cool before attempting to restart.
