1. Product Overview

The Samsonite UpLIFT Carry-On Hardside Luggage is engineered for lightweight durability and convenience. 2. Setup

Unpacking Your Luggage:

Carefully remove the luggage from its protective packaging. Inspect the luggage for any signs of damage incurred during shipping. Remove any plastic coverings or tags before first use.

Setting the TSA Combination Lock:

Your luggage comes with a pre-set combination of 0-0-0. To set your personal combination:

1. Ensure the lock is set to the default combination (0-0-0) and the zippers are disengaged.
2. Locate the small reset button (usually recessed) next to the dials. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold this button until you hear a click.
3. While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials.
4. Release the reset button. You should hear another click, confirming your new combination is set.
5. Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your set combination. The lock should open.

Important: Remember your combination. There is no master key provided for personal use. TSA agents have a universal key to open the lock for inspection without damaging your luggage.

3. Operating Instructions

Adjustable RightHeight Handle:

The RightHeight handle system allows for multiple 1-inch height adjustments to suit your preference. To extend or retract the handle, press the button located on the top of the handle and pull up or push down. Release the button at your desired height. The ergonomic grip ensures comfortable handling.

360° Suspension Spinner Wheels:

The luggage is equipped with advanced 360° suspension spinner wheels. These wheels are designed to provide effortless glide and stable mobility in any direction, reducing strain on your arm and shoulder. They perform well on various surfaces, from smooth airport floors to uneven sidewalks.

Expandable Packing Capacity:

For those times you need a little extra space, your UpLIFT carry-on features a 1-inch expansion capability. To expand, simply locate the secondary zipper running along the perimeter of the luggage and unzip it. This will provide additional depth for souvenirs or last-minute items. To return to its original size, zip it back up.

4. Packing Guidelines

The UpLIFT luggage is designed with thoughtful packing features to maximize space and keep your belongings organized. The interior includes dual lining zipper dividers and compression straps.

• Utilize the compression straps to secure your clothes and prevent shifting during transit.
• Place heavier items at the bottom near the wheels to maintain stability.
• Roll clothes instead of folding to save space and minimize wrinkles.
• Use the zippered compartments for smaller items, toiletries, or shoes to keep them separate from your main clothing.

Cleaning the Exterior:

To clean the polycarbonate hardside shell, wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. The textured surface is designed to resist scratches, but regular cleaning will help maintain its appearance.

Cleaning the Interior:

The interior lining, made from Recyclex® material, can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow it to air dry completely before closing the luggage or packing items.

Wheel and Handle Care:

Periodically check the spinner wheels for any debris or hair that may impede their smooth operation. Clean them gently with a brush or cloth. Ensure the adjustable handle extends and retracts smoothly; if it becomes stiff, a small amount of silicone spray can be applied to the telescoping tubes.

6. Troubleshooting

Handle or Wheel Issues:

If the handle becomes difficult to extend or retract, ensure no debris is lodged in the telescoping mechanism. For stiff wheels, check for obstructions and clean them. If issues persist, refer to the warranty information for service options.

TSA Lock Malfunction:

If you forget your combination or the lock is not functioning correctly, try resetting it using the instructions in Section 2. If the lock remains problematic, contact Samsonite customer support.
