Safety Instructions

- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors. This heater is intended for indoor use only.
- To disconnect the heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove the plug from the outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This heater has overheat protection. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater and let it cool down for 30 minutes before restarting.
- Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent accidental tip-over. This model includes tip-over protection, which will automatically shut off the unit if it falls over.

Setup

- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials.
- Orientation: The Ardes VERTIGO can be positioned either vertically or horizontally. Choose the orientation that best suits your space and heating needs.
- Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched off (thermostat knob turned fully counter-clockwise and mode selector to '0'). Plug the power cord into a suitable 220-240V AC, 50Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips with this appliance.

Operating Instructions
The heater features two control knobs: one for the thermostat and one for mode selection.
- Power On: Plug the heater into a power outlet.
- Select Heating Mode: Turn the mode selector knob to choose your desired setting:
- 0: Off
- Fan Only: For air circulation without heat.
- I (Warm Air): Low heat setting (e.g., 1000W).
- II (Very Warm Air): High heat setting (e.g., 2000W).
- Set Thermostat: Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the maximum setting. Once the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until you hear a 'click' and the heater turns off. The heater will now cycle on and off automatically to maintain this temperature.
- Power Off: To turn off the heater, turn the mode selector knob to '0' and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
