Setup
1. Power Connection
Connect the provided USB cable to the power input port on the back of the Sound Rise DAB SFQ-17 and plug the other end into a suitable power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port. The device will power on automatically.
2. Initial Time Setting
- Press and hold the SETUP button on the back of the unit for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode.
- Use the TUNE/SET dial to adjust the hour, then press ENTER to confirm.
- Repeat the process to set the minutes.
- Press ENTER again to save the time and exit the setting mode.

3. Setting Alarms
- Long press either the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to begin setting the alarm.
- Use the TUNE/SET dial to adjust the alarm time (hour and minute), pressing ENTER after each adjustment.
- Select the alarm source (Buzzer, DAB+, FM, or Bluetooth) using the TUNE/SET dial and press ENTER.
- Choose the alarm frequency (Every Day, Weekdays, Weekends) and press ENTER.
- Adjust the desired maximum alarm volume and press ENTER to confirm.

4. Radio Tuning (DAB+/FM)
- Press the SOURCE button to select DAB+ or FM radio.
- For DAB+, the radio will automatically scan for available stations. Use the TUNE/SET dial to browse stations.
- For FM, use the TUNE/SET dial to manually tune or long-press to auto-scan for the next available station.
- To save a preset, long-press a numbered preset button (1-5) while listening to a station.
5. Bluetooth Pairing
- Press the PAIR button (Bluetooth icon) on the top panel. The Bluetooth indicator on the display will flash.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and select "Soundfreaq SFQ-17" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the indicator will stop flashing, and you can stream audio.

Basic Controls
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button.
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the Volume dial.
- Snooze: Press the SNOOZE bar when an alarm sounds.
- Alarm Off: Press the corresponding ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to turn off the alarm for the day.
- Display Dimmer: Press the DIMMER button to cycle through display brightness levels.
Using Nature Sounds
Press the NATURE SOUND button to activate the natural sound machine. Cycle through available sounds by pressing the button again. Adjust volume with the main volume dial. Press the button once more to turn off the nature sounds.

USB Charging
The Sound Rise DAB SFQ-17 features two USB charging ports on the back: a USB Type-C port (PD fast charging) and a USB Type-A port (18W QC3.0). Connect your mobile devices to these ports using appropriate cables for fast charging. The device can charge up to two devices simultaneously.
