Setup

1. Charging the Headset:

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the headset's charging port and a USB power source.
  2. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
  3. Ensure the headset is fully charged before first use for optimal battery longevity.

2. Helmet Installation:

  1. Attach the main headset unit to the side of your helmet using the provided mounting clip or adhesive bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Carefully route the speaker wires inside the helmet lining. Position the 50mm speakers into the ear pockets of the helmet. If your helmet lacks specific cutouts, ensure the speakers are placed comfortably without causing pressure points.
  3. Attach the microphone to a suitable position inside the helmet, typically near your mouth, ensuring clear voice pickup and minimal wind noise.
  4. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the main headset unit.

3. Bluetooth Pairing:

  1. With the headset powered off, press and hold the power button until the LED display shows "Pairing" or a similar indicator.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "EDYELL A1" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the LED display will confirm the successful pairing.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED display illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED display turns off.

Music Playback:

  • Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
  • Next Track: Press the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Press the '-' button.
  • Volume Up: Long press the '+' button.
  • Volume Down: Long press the '-' button.

Call Handling:

  • Answer Call: The headset will automatically answer incoming calls after 10 seconds. Alternatively, press the multi-function button once to answer immediately.
  • End Call: Press the multi-function button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds when a call comes in.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the multi-function button.

Voice Control:

Activate your smartphone's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.) by pressing the dedicated voice control button on the headset. You can then issue commands such as making calls, getting directions, or playing specific music.

FM Radio:

  • Activate FM: Press the 'M' button to switch to FM radio mode.
  • Scan Channels: Press the multi-function button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  • Change Station: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through saved stations.
  • Exit FM: Press the 'M' button again to return to Bluetooth mode.

LED Display:

The smart LED display provides visual feedback on the headset's status, including battery level, Bluetooth connection status, and current FM frequency. Refer to the display for quick status checks.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Wipe the headset unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • The IP67 waterproof rating protects against dust and temporary immersion in water, but avoid prolonged submersion.

Storage:

  • Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Battery Care:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the headset regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
