5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment, typically on the exterior front of the locking mechanism.
- Insert a new 9V battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The safe requires a 9V battery for electronic functions. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears or if the keypad lights dim.
5.2 Mounting the Safe
The safe can be mounted to a wall, desk, nightstand, or other secure surfaces using the provided mounting bracket and screws. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the safe's weight and resist forced removal.
- Choose a desired mounting location. Consider accessibility and discretion.
- Position the mounting bracket against the surface and mark the drill points.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the surface using the provided screws.
- Attach the safe to the mounted bracket, ensuring it is firmly seated.
- For additional security, utilize the safety cable to anchor the safe to an immovable object.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Finger Vein Recognition
The safe uses advanced finger vein recognition for secure access. It can store up to 50 unique finger vein IDs.
- Enrolling a Finger Vein: Refer to the detailed instructions in the included manual for the specific steps to enroll new finger vein patterns. This typically involves placing your finger on the scanner multiple times from different angles.
- Accessing with Finger Vein: Place your enrolled finger on the biometric scanner. The safe will verify your vein pattern and automatically slide open if recognized.

6.2 PIN Code Access
The safe supports a programmable PIN code of 4 to 8 digits.
- Setting a PIN Code: Consult the included manual for instructions on how to set or change your personal identification number.
- Accessing with PIN Code: Enter your programmed PIN code on the backlit keypad. The safe will open upon correct entry.
6.3 Key Access
For manual override or in case of battery depletion, use the provided keys.
- Locate the keyhole on the safe.
- Insert one of the manual keys and turn it to unlock the safe.
6.4 Silent Mode
To operate the safe without audible feedback:
- Activate Silent Mode: Press and hold the number key "1" on the keypad until the silent mode is engaged.
- Deactivate Silent Mode: Repeat the process by pressing and holding the number key "1".

6.5 Alarm System

- Alarm Activation: If an incorrect finger vein or PIN code is entered three consecutive times, the alarm system will activate for 120 seconds.
- Stopping the Alarm: The alarm can be stopped by entering the correct finger vein or PIN code, or by removing the battery.
