2. Safety Guidelines

Important Safety Information: Please read carefully before operation.

• The aircraft is designed for users aged 14 and above.
• Adult supervision is always advisable when operating any flying toy.

4. Product Overview

The SIMREX X800 drone features a compact, foldable design for easy portability. It is equipped with a 1080P HD camera with a 90-degree adjustable lens, allowing for versatile photo and video capture. The drone also includes RGB lights for enhanced visibility during night flights.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Batteries

Before first use, fully charge both modular batteries using the provided USB charger. Connect the USB charger to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged. Each 1000mAh battery provides up to 11 minutes of flight time, for a total of 22 minutes with both batteries.

5.2 Installing Batteries

• Drone Battery: Insert a charged modular battery into the designated slot on the drone until it clicks into place.
• Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert the required LR44 batteries (included), ensuring correct polarity.

5.3 Pairing the Drone and Remote Control

1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
2. Turn on the drone. The indicator lights will flash.
3. Turn on the remote control.
4. Push the left joystick up and then pull it down. The drone lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

5.4 App Installation and Connection

Download the official SIMREX drone app (ZOOMY) from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Once installed:

1. Turn on the drone.
2. Go to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named SIMREX-XXXXXX).
3. Open the ZOOMY app. You should see the live camera feed from the drone, confirming a successful connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 One Key Start/Landing

Press the One Key Start/Landing button on the remote control to automatically take off or land the drone. This feature simplifies operation for beginners.

6.2 Altitude Hold & Optical Flow Positioning

The Altitude Hold function allows the drone to maintain a stable height, making it easier to capture clear photos and videos. Optical Flow Positioning technology further enhances stability, enabling the drone to hover accurately in position, especially useful for indoor flight.

6.3 Headless Mode

In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, eliminating the need to adjust the drone's position before flight. This simplifies control, especially for new pilots.

6.4 3 Speed Adjustment

The drone offers three adjustable speed modes (low, medium, high) to suit different skill levels and flying environments. Select a lower speed for beginners or indoor flight, and a higher speed for experienced pilots or outdoor conditions.

6.5 360° Flips

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Drone

• Drone not responding: Ensure both the drone and remote control are fully charged and properly paired. Re-pair if necessary.
• Poor camera quality/no live feed: Check the Wi-Fi connection between your smartphone and the drone. Ensure the app is updated.
• Short flight time: Ensure batteries are fully charged. Flight time can be affected by aggressive flying, wind conditions, and frequent use of power-intensive features.
• Drone drifts during flight: Perform a calibration as per the full instruction manual. Ensure you are flying in calm conditions, especially outdoors.
• Drone unstable: Check for damaged propellers and replace if necessary. Ensure the drone is placed on a flat surface before takeoff.
• Drone not taking off: Verify that the propellers are installed correctly and not obstructed. Check for low battery warnings.

Note: This drone is recommended for indoor use. If flying outdoors, please operate in windless conditions to ensure optimal performance and safety.
