1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

1. Carefully unpack all components from the packaging.
2. Wash the glass carafe, its lid, and the filter holder in warm soapy water. Alternatively, these parts are dishwasher safe. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

3.2 Placement

Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, away from any water sources or heat-sensitive materials.

3.3 Trial Run

Before brewing coffee for the first time, perform a trial run to clean the internal components:

1. Fill the water reservoir to the MAX level with fresh, cold water. Do not add coffee grounds.
2. Place the empty glass carafe with its lid on the heating plate.
3. Plug the appliance into a grounded wall socket and press the power switch to start a full brewing cycle.
4. Once the cycle is complete, discard the water from the carafe.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Brewing Coffee

1. Ensure the coffee maker is unplugged before adding water or coffee.
2. Open the lid of the water reservoir.
3. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired level, indicated by the cup markings on the side. The maximum capacity is 1.2 liters (approximately 10 cups).

4. Place a paper filter (size #4) into the filter holder, or ensure the reusable filter is clean and correctly positioned.
5. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one scoop (approximately 7 grams) per cup, adjusted to personal preference.
6. Close the lid securely.
7. Place the glass carafe with its lid on the heating plate.
8. Plug the appliance into a grounded wall socket.
9. Press the power switch. The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.

4.2 Drip Stop Feature

The drip stop feature allows you to temporarily remove the carafe to pour a cup of coffee before the full brewing cycle is complete. Ensure you return the carafe to the heating plate within 20 seconds to prevent the filter basket from overflowing.

4.3 Aroma Twister Technology

4.4 Keep Warm Function and Automatic Shut-off

After brewing, the coffee maker automatically keeps the coffee warm on the heating plate for 30 minutes. After this period, the appliance will automatically switch off for energy saving and safety.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Daily Cleaning

1. Always unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the filter holder and the glass carafe.
3. Wash the filter holder and the glass carafe (with lid) in warm soapy water or place them in a dishwasher. These parts are dishwasher safe.
4. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads.
5. Never immerse the main unit of the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.

5.2 Descaling

Regular descaling is essential to maintain the performance and lifespan of your coffee maker, especially in areas with hard water. Descale every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you notice slower brewing or excessive steam.

1. Use a commercial descaling agent suitable for coffee makers and follow the product's instructions.
2. Alternatively, you can use a solution of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water).
3. Fill the water reservoir with the descaling solution.
4. Place the empty carafe on the heating plate.
5. Run a full brewing cycle without coffee.
6. After the cycle, discard the descaling solution.
7. Run at least two full brewing cycles with fresh, cold water to thoroughly rinse the appliance and remove any residual descaling agent.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your coffee maker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Coffee not brewing:
  • Ensure the appliance is plugged into a working power outlet and the power switch is turned on.
  • Check if the water reservoir has sufficient water.
  • Verify that the glass carafe is correctly placed on the heating plate.
• Weak coffee:

• Filter basket overflowing:

• Appliance not turning on:
  • Check the power connection.
  • The automatic shut-off feature might have activated after 30 minutes of inactivity. Press the power switch again to restart.
