2. Safety Instructions
To prevent injury or damage, always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

4. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup of your meat slicer:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Position: Place the slicer on a clean, dry, stable, and flat surface, such as a countertop. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for safe operation.
- Unfold: If the slicer is in its folded storage position, gently unfold it until it is securely locked into the operating position. The foldable feet should be extended for stability.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Blade Selection
Your slicer comes with two types of blades for optimal performance with different foods:
- Serrated Blade: Ideal for slicing semi-frozen meats, hams, bacon, roast beef, sausages, and breads.
- Smooth Blade: Best suited for processing vegetables, fruits, and cubed cheeses.

5.2. Adjusting Slice Thickness
The slicer allows for precise thickness adjustment from 1mm (paper-thin) to 15mm (0.6 inches). To adjust:
- Locate the thickness adjustment knob on the side of the slicer.
- Rotate the knob to your desired thickness, indicated by the scale.

5.3. Slicing Procedure
- Ensure the slicer is properly set up and plugged in.
- Place the food item firmly on the food carriage. For best results, chill meats slightly before slicing.
- Position the food pusher against the food item to secure it.
- To turn on the slicer, simultaneously press down the child lock protection switch and the power button.
- Using the food pusher, gently guide the food carriage towards the rotating blade. Apply steady, even pressure.
- Collect sliced food on a plate or tray. A meat tray is included for convenience.
- Once slicing is complete, release the power button to turn off the slicer.
- Unplug the slicer from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your meat slicer.
6.1. Disassembly for Cleaning
- Unplug: Always ensure the slicer is unplugged from the power outlet before disassembling or cleaning.
- Remove Food Pusher and Carriage: Detach the food pusher and slide the food carriage off the unit.
- Remove Blade: Carefully remove the blade by rotating the central knob or lever (refer to specific model instructions if different). Handle the blade by its center to avoid direct contact with the sharp edge.
6.2. Cleaning Steps
