Setup
Initial Charge
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the radio using the USB-C charging cable. Connect the USB-C end to the radio's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The LCD display will indicate charging status.
Battery Installation (Optional AAA)
For additional backup power, you may install 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the designated battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press the POWER button to turn the radio on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when the device is active.
Radio Operation (AM/FM/SW/NOAA)
- Select Band: Press the BAND button to cycle through AM, FM, SW, and NOAA weather bands.
- Tune Frequency: Use the TUNE ▲ and TUNE ▼ buttons to manually adjust the frequency. For automatic scanning on NOAA, the radio will scan 7 preset channels.
- Adjust Volume: Use the VOL + and VOL - buttons to control the audio volume.
- Extend Antenna: For optimal reception, extend the telescopic antenna fully.

NOAA Weather Alert Function
To activate the NOAA Weather Alert, ensure the radio is in NOAA band mode. When an alert is broadcast, the radio will automatically activate a 116dB siren and a flashing red light, even if the radio is in standby mode, to notify you of severe weather conditions.

Charging Methods
- USB-C Charging: Connect the provided USB-C cable to a power source. This is the primary and fastest charging method.
- Hand Crank: Extend the hand crank located on the back of the radio and rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise to generate power. Continuous cranking for a few minutes can provide sufficient power for short-term use.
- Solar Panel: Place the radio with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. The solar panel will slowly charge the internal battery. This method is ideal for maintaining charge or for trickle charging over longer periods.
- Power Bank Function: Connect your mobile device to the radio's USB-A output port using your device's charging cable. The radio's internal battery will act as a power bank to charge your device.

Lighting Functions
- Flashlight: Press the dedicated flashlight button to turn on the front-facing 3W spotlight. Press again to cycle through brightness levels or turn off.
- Reading Lamp: Open the top panel to reveal the 2.5W reading lamp. Press the reading lamp button to turn it on. Press again to cycle through brightness levels or turn off.

SOS Alarm
In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button to activate a loud siren and flashing strobe light to signal for help. Press again to deactivate.
Headphone Jack
For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack located on the side of the radio.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to fully charge the internal battery every 3-6 months to maintain its lifespan.
- Water Resistance: The radio is waterproof (IPX6 rated), meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. However, it is not designed for submersion. Ensure all port covers are securely closed to maintain water resistance.
