4. Setup and Installation
Installation of the maXpeedingrods air suspension kit is designed as a bolt-on process. However, some steps may require specific tools and careful attention. It is recommended to have basic mechanical knowledge or seek professional assistance.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the parking brake is engaged.
- Lift the rear of the vehicle and support it securely with jack stands, allowing the axle to hang freely.

4.4 Air Line Routing and Connection
- Route the air lines away from sharp edges, exhaust components, and moving parts.

- The air springs feature an internal jounce bumper to prevent damage during full compression, even with an empty air spring.

4.5 Leak Detection

4.6 Vehicle Modification Considerations
The fitment of this kit may be affected by prior vehicle modifications.
- If the rear of your vehicle is lifted, you may need an additional spacer to support the kit.
- If only the front of your vehicle is lifted, the kit will generally fit.
- If both the front and rear of your vehicle are lowered, this kit will not fit.
