3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the lantern.
2. Twist the cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
3. Insert 3 'D' size batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and twist it clockwise until securely locked.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Lantern Operation

1. Locate the ON/OFF & Volume Knob on the front panel of the lantern.
2. Rotate the knob clockwise to turn on the 12-LED lantern.
3. Continue rotating the knob to adjust the brightness level of the lantern.
4. Rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off the lantern.

4.2 Flashlight Operation

1. Locate the Lantern & Flashlight ON/OFF Button on the side of the lantern.
2. Press the button once to activate the 4-LED flashlight.
3. Press the button again to turn off the flashlight.

4.3 AM/FM Radio Operation

1. Locate the AM/FM Switch on the front panel. Slide it to either 'AM' or 'FM' to select your desired band.
2. Extend the Antenna for better reception.
3. Rotate the ON/OFF & Volume Knob clockwise to turn on the radio and adjust the volume.
4. Use the AM/FM Tuner Knob to scan for radio stations.
5. Rotate the ON/OFF & Volume Knob counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off the radio.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the lantern with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries if the lantern will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
• Storage: Store the lantern in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

• Lantern/Flashlight Not Turning On:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the proper polarity.
  • Replace old or depleted batteries with new 'D' size batteries.
• Poor Radio Reception:
  • Fully extend the antenna.
  • Try repositioning the lantern to find a clearer signal.
• Dim Light Output:
  • Ensure the brightness knob is turned to the maximum setting.
  • Replace batteries if they are low.
