4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
Before initial use, fully charge the HT60 Remote ID transmitter. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the device and a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 4 hours of operation time.

4.2 Attaching to the Drone
The HT60 Remote ID transmitter is designed for external attachment to drones weighing 100g or more. Use the provided Velcro strips for secure mounting.
- Attach one Velcro strip to the back of the Remote ID transmitter.
- Attach another Velcro strip to a suitable, flat surface on your drone.
- Press the Remote ID transmitter firmly onto the Velcro on the drone to secure it.

4.3 Mounting Location Considerations
To ensure optimal GPS signal reception and prevent interference, consider the following when choosing a mounting location:
- Avoid placing the transmitter near propellers to prevent damage.
- Do not cover or obstruct electronic components.
- Mount in a location that does not interfere with drone operation or visibility of buttons and LEDs.
- For best GPS signal acquisition, mount the product on a flat surface of the drone.

4.4 Remote ID Registration (DIPS System)
The HT60 Remote ID transmitter requires registration with the DIPS (Drone Information Platform System) in Japan. Follow these steps to write the registration ID to your device:
- Power On: Press and hold the power switch (power icon) for 3 seconds. The Remote ID will turn on, and the status indicator will slowly flash green.
- Enter Write Mode: Press and hold the gear icon button for 3 seconds. The device will enter write mode, and the status indicator will flash rapidly.
- Enable Bluetooth: Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone. You do not need to wait for it to connect to the Remote ID device yet.
- Access DIPS: Log in to the DIPS drone registration system. From the home screen, select the "Write Remote ID" button.
- Select Aircraft: From the aircraft list screen, select the "Ownership Details" button for the aircraft you wish to register.
- Note 1: The Remote ID manufacturing number is printed on the Remote ID label. When entering, input only the numerical digits.
- Note 2: When registering with DIPS, select "Xiamen Huoshiquan Import & Export CO., LTD" as the "Remote ID Device Manufacturer Name".
- Initiate Write: Select the "Write Remote ID" button to begin the writing process. If a pairing request appears for the first time, enter "000000".
- Completion: Wait for the writing process to complete. A confirmation message will appear.
- Restart: Restart the Remote ID. The status indicator will slowly flash, and the GPS indicator will light up. This indicates that the Remote ID has been written and is transmitting aircraft information correctly. If you need to change the ID information via the app, follow the operating guide again.

5. Operation
5.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the status indicator lights up.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the status indicator turns off.
5.2 Status Indicators
The HT60 features LED indicators to communicate its status:
- Green Flashing (Slow): Device is powered on and searching for GPS signal.
- Green Flashing (Rapid): Device is in write mode (for registration).
- Green Solid: GPS signal acquired and Remote ID is actively transmitting data.
- Red Flashing: Low battery warning.
- Blue Flashing: Bluetooth connection active.
5.3 Flight Operation with Remote ID
Once the HT60 is securely attached to your drone and powered on with a solid green GPS indicator, it will automatically begin transmitting the required Remote ID information during flight. Ensure the device is powered on before drone takeoff.
