3. Installation Instructions
Installation of the DESLOC B200 is designed to be straightforward, typically requiring only a screwdriver. Follow these steps for a successful setup:
- Prepare the Door: Ensure your door is compatible with standard US door dimensions (1-3/8" to 2" thickness) and single-cylinder installations. If replacing an existing lock, remove it first.
- Install Deadbolt Latch: Insert the deadbolt latch into the door edge. Ensure it operates smoothly.
- Install Exterior Lock: Route the IC cable from the exterior lock below the deadbolt. Ensure the deadbolt is in the unlock position and the paddle is vertical.
- Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the door, ensuring the cable passes through the designated hole.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the IC cable from the exterior unit to the interior lock unit.
