2. Safety Information

Please read and understand the following safety precautions before using the instrument to prevent injury to yourself or others, and damage to the instrument or other property.

  • Power Supply: Use only the specified power adapter. Ensure the voltage matches the requirements of your region.
  • Location: Place the instrument on a stable, level surface. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive dust, moisture, or vibrations.
  • Water and Moisture: Do not expose the instrument to rain, water, or excessive humidity. Do not place containers with liquids on the instrument.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation. Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Handling: Do not apply excessive force to the keys, buttons, or connectors.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use chemical cleaners or solvents.
  • Disassembly: Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the instrument. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

The STRICH SDP-300W Digital Piano requires assembly of the main unit onto the furniture stand. Follow the instructions provided in the separate assembly guide for detailed steps. Ensure all screws are securely fastened for stability.

4.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the DC output plug of the power adapter to the DC 12V input jack on the rear panel of the digital piano.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard AC wall outlet (100V-240V).

4.3 Initial Power On

Press the ON/OFF button located on the rear panel to power on the instrument. The display will illuminate, indicating the piano is ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Use the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel.
  • Volume Control: Adjust the master volume using the dedicated volume knob or buttons on the control panel.

  • Multi-Timbres and Rhythms: Explore 900 preset timbres and 700 drum rhythms. The maximum polyphony is 128 notes, allowing for complex musical arrangements.

  • Intelligent Auto Chord: Utilize the intelligent auto chord function for enhanced accompaniment and learning.
  • Effects and Functions: Access various functions including Chorus Effects, Layer/Split (to play two sounds simultaneously or split the keyboard into two sections), Octave Shift, and Transpose.
  • Audio-in Port: Connect external audio sources to the Audio-in port to play music through the piano's built-in 25W x 2 speakers, allowing you to play along with your favorite tracks.
  • Headphone Output: For silent practice, connect headphones to the 6.35mm headphone jack. This mutes the internal speakers, allowing private practice without disturbing others.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the instrument's surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe gently, then dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • Key Care: Keep the keys clean. If they become dirty, wipe them with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and a mild soap solution, then dry thoroughly.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, cover the piano with a dust cover to protect it from dust and debris.
  • Environmental Conditions: Maintain a stable room temperature and humidity. Extreme fluctuations can affect the instrument's components.

7. Troubleshooting
