Operating Instructions
1. Navigation and Controls
The Boxer Crush features a monochrome LCD display and various buttons, switches, and gimbals for control:
- Gimbals (AG01 Hall Gimbals): Control primary flight surfaces (e.g., Aileron, Elevator, Throttle, Rudder).
- Switches (SA, SB, SC, SD, SE, SF, SG, SH): Assignable for various functions like flight modes, gear, or auxiliary channels.
- Trims (T1, T2, T3, T4): Adjust the neutral position of the gimbals.
- Menu Buttons: Navigate through the EdgeTX menu system.
- Scroll Wheel: Used for menu navigation and value adjustment.
2. Model Setup (EdgeTX)
EdgeTX offers extensive customization for different models:
- From the main screen, press the SYS button to enter the System menu.
- Navigate to MODEL SELECT and select an empty model slot or create a new one.
- Configure model type (e.g., airplane, helicopter, multirotor), internal RF module (ELRS 2.4GHz), external module settings (if applicable), and channel mapping.
- Set up mixes, curves, logical switches, and special functions as required for your specific model.
- Ensure proper binding with your receiver. Refer to your receiver's manual for binding procedures.
3. ELRS Module Operation
The integrated ELRS 2.4GHz module provides reliable long-range control:
- Ensure your receiver is also ELRS compatible and running a compatible firmware version.
- Binding typically involves powering on the receiver three times, or using a bind phrase set in EdgeTX.
- Adjust ELRS power output and packet rate settings within the EdgeTX menu for optimal performance based on your flying environment and receiver capabilities.
Maintenance
