1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Vente-unique ZINEA Adjustable Bar Stools. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new bar stools. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

2. Safety Information

WARNING:

• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 120 kg (264 lbs) per stool.
• Exercise caution when adjusting the height to prevent tipping or instability. Ensure no one is seated on the stool during height adjustment.
• Keep children away from the product during assembly. Small parts may pose a choking hazard.
• Ensure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
• Do not stand on the stool.
• Use the stools on a flat, stable surface.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup (Assembly Instructions)

Assembly is required for these bar stools. It is recommended to assemble the stools on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Two people may be helpful for certain steps.

1. Attach the Gas Lift Cylinder to the Base:

   Carefully insert the wider end of the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the metal base. Ensure it is seated firmly. Do not remove the protective cap from the top of the gas lift cylinder until instructed.

2. Install the Footrest:

   Slide the footrest ring over the gas lift cylinder. Ensure the footrest is oriented correctly, with the flat side facing upwards. Secure the footrest to the gas lift cylinder using the provided screws and Allen key. Tighten firmly.

3. Attach the Seat Unit:

   Remove the protective cap from the top (narrower end) of the gas lift cylinder. Align the central hole on the underside of the seat unit with the top of the gas lift cylinder. Carefully lower the seat onto the cylinder, applying gentle pressure until it is securely seated. The weight of the user will further secure the connection during initial use.

4. Repeat for the Second Stool:

   Follow steps 1-3 to assemble the second bar stool.

After assembly, test the stability and functionality of each stool before regular use.

5. Operating Instructions

• Height Adjustment:

  To raise the seat, lift the lever located under the seat while standing. The seat will automatically rise. To lower the seat, sit on the stool and lift the lever. The seat will descend under your weight. Release the lever at the desired height.

• Swivel Function:

  The seat unit is designed to swivel 360 degrees. Simply rotate the seat to your desired position.

• Footrest:

  Utilize the integrated footrest for added comfort and support, especially when the stool is at a higher setting.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning Velvet Upholstery:

  Gently vacuum the velvet fabric regularly to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild fabric cleaner specifically designed for velvet, testing on an inconspicuous area first. Do not rub vigorously.

• Cleaning Metal Parts:

  Wipe metal components with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
• Regular Checks:

  Periodically inspect all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability and safety.

7. Troubleshooting

• Stool feels wobbly:

  Check all assembly screws and ensure they are fully tightened. Verify that the gas lift cylinder is properly seated in both the base and the seat mechanism.
• Height adjustment not working:

  Ensure the protective cap on the gas lift cylinder was removed during assembly. Check if the lever mechanism is obstructed or damaged. If the stool does not rise, the gas lift may be faulty and require replacement.

• Squeaking noise:

  Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the moving parts of the gas lift mechanism or the swivel plate under the seat. Avoid oil-based lubricants on fabric.
