3.3 Temperature Unit Conversion (Fahrenheit/Celsius)

Some models of this remote may default to Fahrenheit (°F). To switch to Celsius (°C), or vice-versa, locate the small pinhole button labeled °C/°F CLOCK RESET or similar, usually near the battery compartment or at the bottom of the remote. Use a thin, pointed object (like a paperclip) to press this button. The display unit should change. If this does not work, consult your air conditioner's original manual as some units control this setting directly.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's display becomes dim or the remote no longer responds to commands. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA). Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

4.2 Cleaning

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

4.3 Storage

If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the remote.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's receiver.
    • Confirm you are within the effective operating range of the air conditioner.
  • Temperature unit incorrect (°F instead of °C):
    • Refer to section 3.3 for instructions on how to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  • Air conditioner not responding to specific functions:
    • Not all functions on the remote may be supported by every air conditioner model. Refer to your air conditioner's original manual for supported features.
