3. Setup
3.1. Helmet Installation
The MAXTO X2 is designed for easy installation on various helmet types. Choose between the iron clip or adhesive mount based on your helmet's design and personal preference.
- Mounting the Unit: Secure the main unit to the side of your helmet using either the iron clip (for a firm grip) or the adhesive mount (for a cleaner look). Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Speaker Placement: Attach the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided Velcro pads. Position them directly over your ears for optimal sound quality.
- Microphone Installation:
- For full-face helmets, use the soft mic and position it inside the helmet near your mouth.
- For open-face or modular helmets, use the boom mic and position it in front of your mouth.
- Cable Management: Route all cables neatly under the helmet padding to avoid discomfort and ensure they are not snagged.

3.2. Intercom Pairing (Two Units)
To enable 2-rider communication, you need to pair two MAXTO X2 units:
- Ensure both MAXTO X2 units are powered off.
- On both units, long press the multi-function button until the red and blue lights flash alternately, indicating Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On both units, press the intercom button to enter intercom pairing mode. The units will automatically search and connect to each other.
- Once successfully paired, the blue light on both units will flash twice.
3.3. Mobile Phone Connection
To connect your MAXTO X2 to your smartphone for calls and music:
- Ensure your MAXTO X2 unit is powered off.
- Long press the multi-function button on the MAXTO X2 until the red and blue lights flash alternately, indicating Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "Maxto X2" from the list.
- Confirm pairing on your phone if prompted. Once connected, the blue light on the X2 unit will flash twice.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Long press the multi-function button until you hear a power-on tone and the blue light illuminates.
- Power Off: Long press the multi-function button until you hear a power-off tone and the lights turn off.
4.2. Intercom Communication
- Start Intercom: After successful pairing, short press the intercom button on either unit to initiate communication.
- End Intercom: Short press the intercom button again to end the intercom conversation.
4.3. Music Playback & Sharing
Once connected to your mobile phone:
- Play/Pause Music: Short press the multi-function button.
- Next Track: Short press the forward button.
- Previous Track: Short press the backward button.
- Music Sharing: To share music with a paired intercom unit, ensure both units are connected via intercom. Start playing music on the phone connected to one unit, then press the on/off button on the unit playing music to initiate sharing. Both riders can then enjoy the same music.

4.4. FM Radio
- Turn On FM Radio: Long press the FM button.
- Scan Stations: Short press the forward or backward button to scan for stations.
- Turn Off FM Radio: Long press the FM button again.
4.5. Phone Calls
- Answer Call: The headset features 8-second automatic call answering. You can also short press the phone button to answer manually.
- End Call: Short press the phone button.
- Reject Call: Long press the phone button.
- Voice Assistant: Short press the voice assistant button to activate Siri or Android voice assistant.
5. Maintenance
