Battery is NOT included with this tool. It is not compatible with DCBP034, DCBP520 batteries. Please confirm battery compatibility before purchase.

3. Setup and Assembly

The Houselife combo tool is designed for quick and easy assembly without the need for additional tools.

3.1. String Trimmer Assembly

1. Attach Handle: Secure the adjustable auxiliary handle to the main shaft. Ensure it is tightened firmly for stability.
2. Connect Shaft Sections: Align the two main shaft sections and push them together until they click securely into place.
3. Attach Trimmer Head: Connect the trimmer head assembly to the lower end of the shaft. Ensure the connection is firm and the locking mechanism is engaged.
4. Insert Battery: Slide a compatible DeWALT 20V MAX battery into the battery port on the handle until it clicks into place.

1. Attach Nozzle: Connect the detachable tapered nozzle to the main blower unit. Push and twist until it locks securely.
2. Insert Battery: Slide a compatible DeWALT 20V MAX battery into the battery port on the blower handle until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

• Trimmer: Hold the trimmer with both hands, ensuring a comfortable grip. Press the safety lock-off button and then the trigger to start. Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion to cut grass and weeds.
• Edger: Rotate the trimmer head 180 degrees using the swivel lever to position the wheel for edging. Guide the wheel along the edge of sidewalks or driveways for clean lines.
• Mower: Adjust the pole and cutting angles to use the trimmer as a mini-mower for small, hard-to-reach areas or under benches.
