5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

Remove all packaging materials. Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a damp cloth. Wash the water tank and drip tray with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.

5.2 Filter Installation

The BRITA Cube uses a MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge to reduce limescale and impurities.

1. Remove the new MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge from its packaging.
2. Submerge the filter in water for a few minutes to prime it.
3. Insert the filter firmly into the designated slot within the water tank.

5.3 Filling the Water Tank

The BRITA Cube has a 4-liter water tank with a convenient sliding lid for easy refilling.

1. Slide open the lid of the water tank.
2. Fill the tank with cold tap water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
3. Close the lid securely.

5.4 Power Connection

Place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface. Connect the Type C power connector to the appliance and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The appliance will perform an initial self-check.

6.1 Temperature and Volume Selection

The BRITA Cube allows you to select your preferred water temperature and volume using the intuitive control panel.

• Temperature Settings: Ambient, 45°C, 65°C, 85°C, 95°C. Use the temperature control buttons to cycle through options.
• Volume Settings: 150 ml, 250 ml, 350 ml, 450 ml. Use the volume control buttons to select your desired cup size. The dispenser remembers your last selection.

6.2 Dispensing Water

Once temperature and volume are set, press the dispense button to start. The BRITA Cube only heats the necessary amount of water, saving energy.
