3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the flashlight. Connect the included USB-C cable to the magnetic charging port on the flashlight and plug the other end into a 5V/2A adapter or power bank. The red indicator light will flash during charging and remain solid when fully charged. Charging typically takes several hours.
3.2 Battery Installation (if applicable)
The DARKBEAM A200S flashlight comes with a pre-installed rechargeable battery. If the battery needs to be replaced or re-inserted, unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight. Insert the 18650 Lithium-Ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Securely screw the tail cap back on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on the flashlight, press the power button located on the side of the body.
- To turn off the flashlight from any mode, long press the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
4.2 Cycling Through Modes
Once the flashlight is on, short press the power button to cycle through the 7 available lighting modes in the following sequence:

4.3 Adjustable Focus
To adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a narrow spotlight, gently push or pull the head of the flashlight. This feature allows you to concentrate the light for long-distance viewing or spread it for wider area illumination.
4.4 Using the Magnetic Base
