Setup and Installation

Proper installation ensures stable performance and accurate data collection.

Mounting the Bike Computer

1. Handlebar Mount: Secure the provided mount to your bicycle's handlebar using the rubber bands. Wrap the rubber band around the handlebar and fasten the mount with the bayonet on the bottom.
2. Rack Installation: If using a compatible bike computer rack, install the provided replacement base onto the rack. Ensure it is securely fastened for perfect compatibility.
3. Attaching the C506SE: Place the C506SE onto the mount. For optimal GPS signal reception, ensure the bike computer is facing upward. Press and rotate it in the direction of the arrow until it clicks into place.

Initial Configuration and App Pairing

To configure your C506SE and synchronize data, use the OnelapFit APP.

1. Download OnelapFit APP: Download the OnelapFit APP from your phone's app store or scan the QR code in the manual.
2. Registration and Login: Complete the registration process and log in to the OnelapFit APP. Fill out your personal information for accurate data analysis.
3. Add Bike Computer: In the app, navigate to "My Bike Computer" and select the C506SE model. Tap the bike computer icon in the upper right corner to initiate pairing.
4. Pairing and Activation: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect and bind the bike computer. The app will automatically search for and connect to the C506SE.
5. Data Synchronization: Once paired, the app will automatically sync your ride records and updated data each time you open it.

Operating Instructions

Button Functions

• Top Button (A): Long press to turn on/off the device, black the screen, or return to the previous screen. During cycling, click to count laps.
• Left Button (B): Click to switch data pages. Long press to enter settings.
• Right Button (C): Click to start or pause a ride. Long press to end a ride.

GPS Positioning

After turning on the bike computer, ensure you are in an open outdoor area free from towering structures, trees, or viaducts for optimal GPS signal acquisition. The positioning icon in the top left corner of the screen will flash while positioning and remain solid once positioning is accomplished. The C506 SE, featuring the high-precision Airoha chipset, ensures swift and accurate positioning within 5 seconds, thanks to over 300 days of rigorous calibration and AGNSS support. Offline AGNSS remains valid for approximately 14 days.

Riding and Data Display

Once positioned, the default homepage will appear. Click the Right Button (C) to start your ride and access the riding page. The ride will automatically pause if your speed drops below the preset auto-stop speed. You can also manually pause or resume the ride using the Right Button (C).

The C506SE offers customizable layouts for personalized data needs. Experience a vibrant, colorful screen display that presents key data clearly with circular dials, line graphs, and bar charts. With support for 108 data items across 14 categories, you get a comprehensive view of your cycling performance at a glance.

Navigation

The C506SE supports colorful navigation and turning tips. You can create custom routes or upload GPX files via the OnelapFit APP. The device provides off-course alerts and route re-planning when connected to OnelapFit. Detailed turning road names are provided with automatic zoom and prompts.

Sensor Connection

The Magene C506SE GPS Bike Computer supports 9 types of devices, meeting various cycling needs. It connects via ANT+ and Bluetooth to:

Indoor Training

The C506 SE transforms your indoor training experience by connecting to a smart trainer. You can customize your power target, resistance level, and gradient to focus on performance improvement without outdoor distractions. The device supports three training modes: Target Power, Resistance Level, and Gradient. After setting up your preferred mode, select "Start" to begin training. All three modes allow intensity adjustments, but changes cannot be made while riding.

History Record

The C506SE stores your cycling data. You can view your history records, including data statistics (total mileage, time, riding days) and route details, directly on the device. The OnelapFit APP also provides comprehensive analysis with 37 data items and 14 charts, supporting settings, data sync, and training functions. You can share your achievements on STRAVA and TrainingPeaks effortlessly.

System Settings

You can upgrade firmware or change the language in the system settings on the bike computer. The C506 SE offers a familiar and comfortable interface with support for 11 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Polish, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Russian.

The bike computer has Auto Brightness, Brightness Adjustment, Key Tone, and Prompt Tones functions. The auto brightness feature may be turned on or off, and brightness can also be manually adjusted. Both prompt tones and key tones are adjustable.

Data Management

The OnelapFit APP allows for data retransmission without worrying about data duplication. If any portion of the data has been synced before, it will be instantly replaced, ensuring data integrity.

Personal Profile

Set up your body data in the OnelapFit APP to ensure accurate calculation and analysis of your exercise data. In addition to basic information like your birthdate and height, you may enter more detailed information such as weight, FTP (Functional Threshold Power), MHR (Maximum Heart Rate), and LTHR (Lactate Threshold Heart Rate). The app provides function suggestions to aid in your understanding of these metrics.
