3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Pre-Installation Check
Before mounting the lights, it is recommended to assemble all strands and test the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection to ensure proper functionality.
3.2 Physical Installation Steps
- Assemble and Test: Connect all light strands and the controller to the power adapter. Plug in the system and ensure all lights illuminate. Test the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection using the Lepro app before permanent installation.
- Determine Placement: For the best scalloped lighting pattern, adjust the lights' distance from the wall to be approximately 2-4 inches (5-10 cm).
- Ensure Even Spacing: Use a cardboard template or a measuring tool to ensure all LED nodes are evenly spaced from the wall, maintaining a consistent lighting effect.
- Prepare Surface: Clean the installation surface (e.g., soffit, eaves) with alcohol to remove any dust or debris. This ensures optimal adhesion for the double-sided tape.
- Initial Placement: Use the pre-applied 3M double-sided tape on each LED node for initial placement and temporary holding.
- Secure Permanently: For a permanent and secure installation, use the provided screws and plastic expansion anchors to fasten each LED node firmly to the surface.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Smart RGB+IC (Independent Control) LEDs
The Lepro E1 lights feature RGB+IC technology, allowing you to set each individual bulb to a specific color. This enables the creation of complex and dynamic lighting effects. The app provides extensive options for color selection and pattern design.

4.2 Upgraded Tunable White Light (2200K-6500K)
Beyond RGB colors, these lights offer a dedicated white light spectrum, tunable from a warm 2200K to a cool 6500K. This allows for versatile lighting, from cozy accent lighting to bright security illumination. The white LEDs are also individually addressable. Note: Due to current firmware, dedicated white light cannot be used in combination with RGB colors simultaneously, but mixed white light patterns can be created in the DIY-RGB page.

4.3 Lepro AI LightGPM 2.0 and AI Voice Control
Lepro LightGPM is an AI lighting model that generates lighting effects based on your prompts, moods, or commands. The Lepro app features an integrated voice assistant, eliminating the need for external connections like Alexa for basic voice control within the app. Simply type or speak your desired activity or mood, and the AI will suggest suitable lighting effects.

4.4 Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity
The lights support both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Bluetooth allows access to most app features (DIY, On/Off, AI Voice Prompt, Favorites, Schedule/Rules) within Bluetooth range. For control outside Bluetooth coverage and integration with Alexa/Google Home, Wi-Fi connectivity is required. Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz.

4.5 WLED Compatibility
Each LED node is equipped with two built-in WS2811 ICs (one for RGB lights and one for white lights), allowing seamless integration with WLED software. Note: To connect with WLED, you will need to purchase a separate 24V WLED controller and 24V power supply units, as the original Lepro power adapter outputs 29V.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Lepro E1 AI Permanent Outdoor Lights, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Lights Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The lights do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
- Check the Wi-Fi signal strength at the controller's location. A signal strength above -75dBm is recommended. You can use Wi-Fi analyzer tools to check this.
- Confirm that the Wi-Fi name and password entered in the app are correct.
- If issues persist, try restarting your Wi-Fi router and the light system.
- Limited Alexa/Google Assistant Commands:
- Voice commands recognized by Alexa or Google Assistant may be limited compared to the full functionality available in the Lepro app. For example, simultaneous adjustments of brightness and color via voice may not be supported by the smart assistant's official guidelines.
- Ensure your Lepro account is correctly linked to your Alexa or Google Home account as per Section 3.4.
- Lights Not Responding to App:
- Verify that your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range for Bluetooth control.
- If controlling via Wi-Fi, ensure your phone has an active internet connection and the lights are connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Check for any available updates for the Lepro app and install them.
- WLED Compatibility Issues:
- Remember that WLED integration requires a separate 24V WLED controller and a 24V power supply unit. The included Lepro power adapter (29V) is not compatible with WLED directly.
