6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Life Prolongation
- First Use: Charge for 6-8 hours to ensure the battery is fully charged.
- After Every Ride: Charge for 8-12 hours.
- Storage: When the bike is not used for a long time, ensure the car switch is off and the battery power is disconnected. Store the bike in a cool and ventilated environment. If not in use, the battery should be charged once a month.
6.2 Brake Adjustment
If there is too much travel on the brake lever, it needs tightening. Loosen the white nut on the brake lever in an anticlockwise direction to tighten the brake. If there is still too much travel after this adjustment, the nut of the brake cable near the brake disk needs adjusting. Loosen the nut of the brake cable in an anticlockwise direction, tighten the brake cable and hold it on. Rotate the wheel to check the degree of tightness. When you feel a little friction on the wheel, tighten the brake cable in a clockwise direction.
Video: This video includes a section on brake adjustment methods.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Inability to Charge
- Replace the charger or check the wiring.
